Trex Map Online?
Hey guys. Perhaps I just couldn't find it. Is there a trex trail map on the site or online? The one time I went we got sidetracked and lost the singletrack. :?

Was doing a ride and repair today at Trexler and came across a lost Dingo. If it's yours and fell out of your pack shoot me a PM :cornut: with a description and it's yours.
Good thing there were no matches around - any passer by coulda just lit the thing on fire :ihih: . It's not the best of neighborhoods on that side of trails - all burned/bombed out and all...
Thought I'd post up again now that it seems the wet spring weather is behind us. With Trexler drying out like the rest of the area, conditions are changing fast and the place is starting to ride like you would expect it for this summer.
1st - the place has crazy, crazy good grip
2nd - in spite of the hard pack not being fully developed, the place is getting really fast. It's a combination of rolling resistence and no rocks
3rs - for the speed you can carry the turns are generally tight with the occasional "near hair pin" turn.
First time on this forum. Just registered today.
First, kudos to all that are helping with the trails at TNP. Was very impressed with the overall quality of trails and the maps provided.
Was cruising around Trexler yesterday and pulled a flat and walked back to the lot since I was pretty close at that point. Folks have been saying that thorns are a problem up there and I've been lucky and rode about 4 times without any problems but yesterday pulled a whopping 8:cryin: from my tires - 5 in front and 3 in back. Some looked like spikes when I pulled them.
Trexler is starting to get ridden nicely in spots. Still not summertime fast but certainly in great shape for early april No snotty slippery mud, no water anywhere and great grip. It's in great shape for a single speed if your interested. Real easy to jump out of the saddle and kick-it. If it doesn't rain in the next few days I would expect that by Friday the place will actually be dusty.
Looks like we are going to have a good turn-out for tomorrow and I thought I start a seperate thread to get some preplanning going and make sure we get the most out of couple hours out there.
For those trickling in after the official start time - just follow the trail from the parking lot. The sections we'll be working on are about a 15' walk from the lot if you follow the trail - 10' if you know how to cut accross. If you ride your bike in great - we'll need at least one good test dummy to verify questionable turns.
Just got back from riding Trex this morning - the loop is about 1 hour long or so.
If you got a choice of tires, I would go with a mudder/winter tire. I was running Kenda Nevegals Stick -E and they were packing up pretty bad with mud. The nevagals work great on bare rock and wet roots but the looam and shale - no
I was running about 30 psi on tube tires and been out on two rides without any flats. I have no idea what tire pressure is good for thorn puntures but that's what I've been running.
Just wondering, if we had about 5 or so people with snow shoes & xc skis, this Saturday or Sunday, we could snow shoe a loop then ski it! It would be killer. Think?
Doug was invited as a guest on the show "Focus Lehigh County" with today's episode centering on Trexler NP.
We so impressed Don Cunningham with our grassroots efforts that he wanted our Club to be represented when they spoke about Trexler.
The show airs 12/08, the night of our next General Meeting at SVB.
Doug was a bit nervous, and did quite well except for when I had to hold him down from running out while he was waiting to go on air.
There were three segements of the show, the third featured Doug. VMB was metioned in the first segments as well.
