If you got a choice of tires, I would go with a mudder/winter tire. I was running Kenda Nevegals Stick -E and they were packing up pretty bad with mud. The nevagals work great on bare rock and wet roots but the looam and shale - no
I was running about 30 psi on tube tires and been out on two rides without any flats. I have no idea what tire pressure is good for thorn puntures but that's what I've been running.
As far as conditions go - think of Trex right now as a mid-winter type ride. Slow and technical with a bit of slippin and sliddin going on. Leaves on most of the trails - fast in other sections. No actual mud puddles or water so speak of, just soft loam.
Get out and ride, in a few weeks, the conditions will change and we'll have a new park.
don't miss out on this rare opportunity to break in virgin trails....
