The wife and i were thnkn of hittn Trex up tomorrow. Anyone know how the trails are???
Lehigh County is contracting with Dave King form Dirtsculpt (www.dirtsculpt.com) as it's mtb trail planner at Trex. The final paperwork should be done in a week or two and Dave will then get started. First he will meet with the County, then likely he will meet the active participants at Trex. Then the field work will begin.
I realize it's a long shot that A: Someone will find it. And B: That person would read this post.
But if someone finds a little Kodak Easy share camera up at Trex, could you let me know. It's a blue camera with a black neoprene zip cover. It came out of my camelbak on a ride and I didn't have time to retrace my 'steps' as it were.
It's actually my wife's camera and I'm afraid she'll cut me in my sleep when she finds I've...uh....misplaced it... :cryin:
The Trex XXX Fest is fast approaching. There are some things you can do to help.
As many of you know , there are a few areas of trail still under construction or being reworked. GO RIDE THE TRAILS! Pack that shit down! The more folks riding , the better buffed in it will get.
i put them on the kiosk with the maps in the north lot
Heads up everyone! Work has begun on the covered bridge. The bridge is being torn out and replaced( certain historical elements of the bridge will be reused, calm down ). Demolition of the bridge has started and we ask anyone using the Bridge Trailhead to park on the side that enters off of r309 in Scheckville. For obvious safety reasons crossing the bridge is now:
1) At Your Own Risk
2) STUPID.
Archery season opened yeaterday out at Trex. Don't forget your orange.
I lost a small first aid kit with leatherman scissor/multitool, bandaids thread duct tape etc, It fits in a clear tube patch kit without any label on it. It probably laying on the ground near the landing for HP1 largest roller double, if anyone finds it let me know. Thanks
I went up there with a machete and some shears and did some trimming on brian's trail and HP1. I started with the mess that is buck run, but (I think) a bald-faced hornet landed on my shoulder so I took off with my tail between my legs. I hope what I cut down is even noticable
