Distance from Sand Island to Allentown
Can anybody help me with an approximate distance, via the towpath, from Sand Island in Bethlehem to the bridge between Hanover and Hamilton in Allentown?
I'm thinking it's around 6 miles.
Appreciate it.

At last weeks Wednesday night Saucon Bike ride at Jacobsburg, I think I left a pair of Trek gloves sitting on my bumper when I left. Longshot but did anyone happen to see and pick them up?
Thanks, Rich
Id just like to thank the tree (you know who you are) that took me off my bike today and left a nice bruise on my chest. I thank you for being a smaller tree and giving a little. It was nice that you dropped me straight down and into the mud that caused my front wheel to go over the berm. I will be back to clean that berm and hit the jump right after it. You Mr. Tree will watch and be sad that you will not hit me again.
Just a snap or two...I wasn't able to stay very long (had to study for my graduate course). Weather was good...but the deer ticks were out in force.

A certain female rider was heard screaming this today at Trexler Nature Preserve.
"Half Pipe" is what we've been calling a new trail there that crisscrosses a valley several times. This is Greg's (greg761) baby and the swoopy turns and dips are gonna' generate some big smiles!
Trexler is really starting to shape up nicely.
The final benchcut to complete a ride-able loop is imminent.
Stay tuned for a "Close The Loop" trail day.

My rep finally stopped in yesterday with a couple of demo bikes. He didn't have a lot available but I have a Mount Vision 5.8 size Large and a Nail Trail 29er size 17". He also dropped off a womans Juniper Trail in a 15". I will have these bikes for while so if anyone is interested in taking one out for the day to ride wherever you want, let me know. I've ridden all these bikes and they feel great. I'm looking forward to getting them on some real terrain.
Fitness Central Bike Shop wants to thank everyone from VMB that came out for the Wednesday Night Jordan Ride. I got to meet a lot of people on Wednesday's that normally I wouldnt get to ride with. We had our last weekly ride this past Wednesday and conditions were great. Big thanks the Lubys for doing some trail work.
So thanks again for coming out and riding and hopefully next year we will see the rest of you out there. Keep riding. See you on the trail.
