I'm looking to do some long rides in and around the valley but I'm not familiar with any other long trail system other than blue marsh within an hour or two. Does anyone know of other trails that make a loop? Also I'm contemplating doing a metric century at blue marsh sat. or sunday and wanted to know if there was any interest? Thx

So, I recently got back from the Sedona area, & just wanted to share some info with you. If you're looking for a bike destination, lots of fun & lots to do besides biking. Flagstaff is just an hour away, offering winter skiing, or awesome MTB Trails as well. In December the high in Sedona was right around 60 degrees, lows in the 30s.
Sedona Bike & Bean, actually located in Oak Creek, 3 miles east of Sedona, offers quality bikes to rent. Santa Cruz, Titus, & Kona, as well can help you out with the morning coffee. The staff is good people, cool to hang, chill, & talk bikes
This sounds pretty freakin cool. Glen Plake is a pioneer, a living legend in the world of big mountain skiing! The moive sounds really cool. Check out the storyline. Having Glen do commentary during the movie should be quite entertaining. It's free to the public. The movie will be in the Mountain Ballroom at 4:00 PM on Monday. This technically is a Pinnacle/Buckmans ski shop event that is being held at the Bear Creek.

just wanted to post that it was so fun to get off the couch today strap on my shoes and rip some fluffy white stuff .... Fingers and toes going ping pah tah dah ding.. like a hot exhaust pipe... sitting by a toasty fire afterwards with a great meal coming soon. makes winter a bit easier to deal with.... Gotta love snow storms, goodtrails, good cooks, squishy bikes and cold bevy's.....
