The winter season is officially upon us, more or less. At least it showed up, finally. Some great XC Ski centers are now open with good conditions. All northeast XC resort conditions can be found here:

Congrats to returning incumbents Lisa and Greg (secretary, treasurer) and to VMB's new Vice President Scott Stortz.
Seeing that Scott was able to bring a weekly club ride back -- who knows what else he's capable of?
The new annual membership dues will change to $20 as of the first of the year.

Dear Santa,
My list is pretty modest this year and none of it is a necessity. I've been a good boy and shared lots of my bike stuff with my friends. I hope you have enough room in your sack for just a few things.
1. I would like a new drivetrain. I hope it is a SRAM x.9 set, but XT would be fine too.
2. I would like a pair of XL Hoss Ponderosa cycling shorts, because I am a much bigger boy now...in white and gray camoflauge, please, it has that slimming effect.
3. I am getting tired of fideling with my mechanical brakes, so a pair of Avid Elixer Hydros would be super.
