A Day Off

I finally have a day off Wed so I'm going to goof around at Sals and SMB. Start from home to upper Sals to 3rd street or something then climb up to SMB goof around then back to 3rd street or something then finish with lower Sals then home! Woo Hoo! I think it was about 20 m last time might be more this time? :O

Ray's Trip(s)...

Is it too early to start talking about planning a trip or two out to Ray's? Had an awesome time last year with a bunch of local riders as well as others from PA. Just trying to get the ball rolling cuz I'm sure the prime indoor riding season will be upon us in no time...

The Widowmaker Trail Crew's latest...

It's called the Wooden Cross. There's a 3 foot drop to a tranny that narrows down to 18". Cross a rock and another 12' bridge that's 18-12" wide at the end. Along the tree and turn onto the bridge that ends with a 60* wall to tranny out. The other bridges that aren't finished are for the am's to cross over with a 4' wide entrance that narrows down to 30". It hasn't been finished cause PP&L will be coming through very soon and might be taking it out. Jay, Dan and Myself are part of Hubbard's trail crew. When we build bridges or drops/jumps we go by The Widowmaker Trail Crew.

What the heck is in season now!@

Ok - I'm cruisin through Sals today for an unexpected ride around 3:00. I pass I guy in a tree stand with a bow - no problem, it is bow season for something I'm thinkin to myself. I make my way toward Dodson (I started at Constition) and now I'm hearing gun shots. What really spooked me was the deer on the move - a buck and a few does.

One shot isn't so bad but there were may seven to ten shots over a few minutes. I bailed out at Dodson and took the streets back to my car.

MTBR

Hey guys, I don't want to drag this out all over PA since it's already posted on MTBR. But I'd like to let you guys know that Northeast PA is being mis-represented in the Pa forums and we at Hubbard and the guys at WVMTBA want you to know that. If any of you go on to the Pennsylvania forums on MTBR, please don't associate Hubbard or WVMTBA with NEPMTBA. Thanks, Fahn
