Moab, UT

So one of my college buddies is getting married in Salt Lake City at the end of Aug and i might be going and i might have the opportunity to ride Moab (a lifelong dream). I know some of you have been there so what's the scoop? I'd be riding with some less experienced people so i dunno what trails we could do. I'd realllly like to do Slickrock or Porquopine Ridge but i dunno if they can handle it. Do we need a guide or could we go it alone? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Raced the Single Speed this weekend.....

Only one other guy showed up for sport Single Speed, But I showed up geared to Low and this dude racing expert helped me change from 32 18 to 32 16, but it was still too low....so i ended up sandbaging the whole race, and rode with the ladies who started behind me.....that was fun...some fast chicks...they were hot so I rode with them for a while.

At the start line, The expert SS'ers all moved in to introduce themseleves they heard there was a new kid in town from the guy that helped me out.....that was cool.

Race around the new Allentown brew works

hey everyone, hope all is well. gotham cyclists and the lehigh wheelmen racing team are putting on a twilight crit on july 28th starting at 5pm. That part is set. The great news is i talked to allentown brew works and they are very excited to be apart of it. The even better news is the course closes off hamilton st right in front of them. That means we will have the street to hang out, cheer on etc. I thought it would be great for VMB and other clus to come out and get the cowbells and cheer everyone on. Hek, maybe we could start our own orange jumpsuit crew!!!

We hope the police learn a lesson and respect the rights of women to go topless

This is kind of off topic. But I feel like this type of civil liberty violation can no longer be tolerated. I think everyone needs to read this article and realize that women shouldn't be treated different than men.

So what does all my time add up too?

Been in the club for a while now. I have gotten a tremendous amount of input from everyone, tips, knowledge, and information.

Coach Muto got me started on a lesson plan for technical riding. He gave me a bunch of pointers at JT, and told me to ride Sals everyone week. He is also a great source of positive motivation, is that your passion or obsession Rudy? Smile

Group rides are nice ....But

It has become somewhat of a tradition for me to take advantage of an early dismissal on the last day of school to go ride and release a years worth of teaching stress and embrace summer.

I like to ride with other people, but my ride Wednesday afternoon was just as enjoyable even though I was by myself. The temperature was certainly bearable with a gentle breeze. The woods seemed just a touch greener and softer than a few weeks ago. And my bike was running peacefully quiet and crisp.
