The Dec07 issue of Bike Mag has a small article on this bike park located under I-5 in Seattle.
I found this Wiki style page that shows it a bit more in detail.
Check it out...pretty cool!
My buddy Ken sent this to me tonight. He rides a brown Specialized:
"Jay, I just sent this letter to Dirt Rag, and thought 'd share it with you too.
So it seems everyone but me knew about the Cannibal Albino family...
Ha...any others?
I found this one...
Allentown - Constitution Drive - Reports of an apparition of a man that walks with 2 dogs that have red glowing eyes. Believed to be the owner of the dogs, he was run over by a train losing a leg and bleeding to death.
Check who just posted eight, count-em! -- EIGHT! rides in the scheduler!!
Thought since I have been commenting on some of the posts I would like to introduce myself a lil. Just started biking in May doing mainly the canal which lead us to Jim Thorpe. We originally had bought Mongooses from Wal-Mart and thought they were way cool. Started riding the switchback. Needless to say that lead to bigger better bikes. We are now proud owners of Specialized Stumpjumpers. We are loving this sport so much. Quit smoking in May after almost 30 years and this is the way I found to try to get in shape.
Well i get sick of tired of seeing people's names and not riding with them. So i make an executive decision(even though i'm not an executive) that i require Lehigh Laura or for that matter anyone who posts that she gets to post here own ride.
so here is how it goes Laura
-you get to (must) post your own ride
-you pick the day
-you pick the time
-you pick the place
-you pick the pace
and we're gonna show up
no excuses
so LL let's here where we're going!
I thought I'd write a blog while I digest my breakfast before I head out on the trails...so here goes...
John T. called me on his way up the turnpike yesterday and asked me what I was doing. After I put down my paintbrush, I listened to him say that he was on his way to BB. They are having a red, white and blue ski for free weekend.
Here is the deal. All you have to do is wear Red, white and blue gear and you can ski all day for zero dollars. However, only one slope is open, but it's a terrain park slope with rails and kickers. Pretty impressive that they have one slope open already IMO.
So, if you have the itch, go scratch it at BB.
How much room for the circle of death, does this thing need?!?!?!?!
Stand clear if you see this thing coming up the power lines at Sals!
