The Diablo Domination Series standings are complete with Jonk
placing 10th overall in the Intro. Men's class out of 95 entrants. Not bad for his first year. And 4 of the 5 races were done on a hardtail ( he did the last race on a full-suspension Iron Horse rental ). Great Job, Jonk!
We are starting to plan for next year : a real DH bike,real
training, maybe some coaching, hoping to do Diablo again, maybe some Gravity East events and maybe even a trip to Mt.
Snow for Nationals. I'm trying to get him to consider some
XC races and Super D.

I want to post a video on Youtube. The prob is that the video is fairly long, a pop song in length, a bob Dylan song at that so it has a lot of words :).

Anyhow this thing is a normal movie from a dig cam and its like 1/2 Gig almost. The Youtube limit is 10MB. How can I compress this to fit the youtube size limit?

I read some stuff from their site-says use Movie Maker to compress your movie and it recommends MPEG4 format 320x240 pixel and mp3 audio but I know nothing.

Too much? its from 2001, but it looks so sweet.

Ted's is going to be huge this Nov. 4th. Another side event going on there is an EWR owners get together. I am really psyched on that, and there should be some really cool stuff there as well as all the other crazy goings on, people and riding. Please spread the word and please do attend Ted's, it will be a great event.

So I'm about to enter the search for a good deal on a FS XC ride...frame, frame/fork, complete, whatever it may be. My first choice thus far is a FSR Stumpjumper, but am also keeping an eye out for a Blur or a Element. Anyone recommend some other local/regional forums to check out? Maybe a regional race forum, since some of the top guys might be selling one year old rides with the end of the season approaching?

So i had alittle accident at Lehigh on the Snake Wednesday night. Trying to ride it on my hardtail like i do on the DH bike, bad idea. Over the bars onto my face. Caught a rock directly to the eye socket. I went to the ER and got some stitches and a CAT scan. CAT scan showed I have a facial fracture. Basically my nasal cavity and sinus cavity now don't have a barrier between them and they told me i'm not allowed to blow my nose. The good news is my vision is fine and i dont have a head injury and i get out of work for a couple days!

the timing couldn't be better. Lou, the editor from BIKE mag called me today to tell me he was coming in for the week to do a feature on the LV mtn bike scene. So polish up your bikes and let's show em' what we got.

i'll post particulars tonight, but i wanted to get some guides for him for next week. i.e. bear creek, jordan, jburg, lehigh sals.

i thought we could team up with the LU Cycling club to show him aroudn with us and we could focus on collegiate mtn biking.
