Help Needed Hanging Trail Markers at Bear Creek (March 14th - Maybe)
We are replacing the current color coded arrow trail markers with a color coded number system. I could use some help removing old signs and hanging new ones. Since hotel guests are still using the trails, the removal of the old signs and hanging of the new ones must happen simultaneously. We plan on working and hopefully completing this project on Sunday, March 14th, just in time for daylight savings. Of course this will mean some of the snow will need to melt to make the trails accessible. We plan on meeting in lot 4 at 9:00 AM.
Welcome back Dick Jordan!
It's nice to see a familiar name on the new member list.
I gotta' dig out some pics of Dick with Rob at a trail day!
Hope to ride with you again soon Dick!

Last fall with the help of fees and donations, we were able to install "Help Locator" signs along Forbidden Drive in Wissahickon Valley Park. This effort will be expanded to Pennypack Park this spring. With continued support, we would like to keep expanding the program throughout other parks and to more remote trails.
Looking for a ride?
Here is a link to a ride I have been doing in Palmer.
It is a perfect 6 mile loop on paved path (about 1/2 mile of road) and starts from park in Palmer.
Once the downhill that leads into Hugh Moore Park melts it can become a figure eight of paved path.

May do this today if the Cutter's Spin does not work out.
Trail conditions report for local xc skiing?
Can anyone help me out with how things are looking out there? Is it worth trying?
It's pretty warm today...
Thx!
Trying to organize a fun day in a different sport!!!
So, all this snow is here an we cant hit the trails like we all want to be doing. But there is definitely other ways to have fun. Ive been enjoying climbing at North Summit Climbing Gym in Wind gap. I talked to one of the owners tonight and presented the idea of trying to organize a group to come in. Anyone who has never climbed before would have to get a an intro lesson. They offer packages which include the lesson, and all the equipment necessary. Im not sure what the price would be, im assuming it might be based on the group. The normal price is $25 per person.
