Are you Still Tough Enough

If you didn't get in Tough Mudder, here's your last chance.  Rumor has it that VMB wants to put in a team.  I can get 10 people in Tough Mudder if VMB can provide 20 volunteers at Tough Mudder.  The entrance fee is $100.  So there you have it.  Get me 20 volunteers and i will get a 10 person VMB team in Tough Mudder.  This is your last option.  There are no more tickets to be had.

Feel like a kid again!!!!

At 57 years old, I feel like a kid again today.  It has only been 1 1/2 months since my total knee replacement and this morning I rode my mtn bike around the block .  Isn't life so simple.  Hope to be back on the trails (easier) again in mid May thanks to Dr. Eric Lebby of VSAS and OPT therapy. Great job

Hope all enjoy the great weather out on the trails this weekend and Happy Easter to all!

Hiking new lines at Trexler this week - who's in

Anyone have some time and want to join me on some hiking around Trexler?  This is the last week of season to scope out new territory before the leaves come in and shut it down until late fall.

It would be afternoons - about 3ish until 5 or so.  I could be convinced to take a mental health day and spend either the afternoon or morning!!

Post up if your interested.

Trees down everywhere

I got out to Jordan, Trex and Sals this weekend and it looks like all the snow this winter wreaked havoc on the trails.  Sals was good when I rode it Sunday afternoon thanks to the work everyone did up there.  Jordan had huge trees down in certain parts that need to be cleared.  People have already started re-routing trails to get around them.  Hiking at Trex saw lots of AO down on the trail.  We need to figure something out with this.  I dont know if we need to widen the corridor or do a better job of not leaving certain trees hanging out over the trail.  The point is, whoever has chainsaw

Moosic Mountain

What's up guys? It's that time of the season again. Get the bikes out and get beat up pretty good for the first couple rides. The same goes for the trails too. Moosic mountain is 70% dry now. Give it another week or two and we're good to go! Right now the trails are mostly dry. There's a section on Stonehenge that's a mess from a creek that gets backed up. It should be dry in a week though. If it's bad and you're there, please walk this section as it's only 100' or so. Also, Waterfall (the name says it all) was a trail that I didn't like the location of, but???

OOOH! YEAH!!! Spring is Here!!!

After 3 long and cold winter months, I was finally able to ride the way bikes were ment to be ridden.  Last night I rode in shorts, without booties, no hat, and ditched the winter gloves.  Things are finally reverting back to the way they should be.  Rudy even rode with us and he sponged beers from us...just like the good ole days!  Welcome back Spring!
