Log cutting at Lehigh

There have been some really good log-crossings cut out at Lehigh that have been there forever -- one on the Cool McCauley trail towards the bottom, and two atop a short steep climb right behind the Lehigh fraternities.  These were excellent skill builders -- one required a bunnyhop or bump-jump while compressed and leaning in a corner, and the other required two tough log crossings while your heart-rate was pegged after a steep short climb.  Now they are now just simple trails between cut stumps with no effort required.

TreX = FUN

Rode TreX this morning before work and had a blast.  Some good climbing involved and some fast flowy fun sections.  We rode for about an hour without a problem and got no flats.  There are a few sections we had to walk but overall, this place is becoming a destination for good riding.  :thumbsup:

Hello

Hey all.  I havent' been around in a while, some of you may remember me.  Didn't get much riding in last year, due to hubby's knee issues, but hoping to have a great 2010 season.  Just renewed my membership, and hope to meet a bunch of you soon.   Still consider myself a beginner MTBer, so go easy on me.  :beer:   Cheers!

Calling all Runners!!! (sorry, off topic but worth it)

I am on the planning committee for the Girls on the Run 5K event in the Lehigh Parkway on Monday, May 24th at 5:30 pm.

Girls on the Run is a 10 week program that teaches 3rd through 5th grade girls about the importance of exercise and nutrition, provides speakers on topics such as peer pressure, cyber bullying, etc... and helps to build self esteem. At the end of the 10 weeks, the girls have trained to participate in a 5K event. :thumbsup:

Lyme disease symptoms

I've been sick alot this past winter. The cause is thought to be all the viruses I pick up from my 1yr. old and her friends at daycare. I'm starting to wonder though. Anybody that's had lyme, has anyone had just general cold/flu symptoms come and go all the time without getting a fever with it. You ared supposed to get a fever with lyme, but I haven't. If I wanted to go to a doctor in a timely fashion to get tested, anyone have any doctors they would recommend? Please PM me. Thanks
