Ticks
Ticks are out and very hungry. Pulled 8 off Kona yesterday after hiking Sals and 1 off my neck this morning. Jason, time to apply your Frontline.
Doesn't fit in the other forums, post it here

Rainy day discussion;
Who has the oldest bicycle here?
I am thinking it should be a bike that is still rideable.
My oldest is one of my Dad's road bikes from about 1975, but I am sure someone here has a much older bike in their collection.
Eric, I know has some old Schwinns, but who has the oldest bike. Post up.
Pics would be awesome, too. (if anyone wants to see my Dad's old Fuji, I will post a pic or two)
Cheers,
D
Due to the pending Nor'easter, monsoon, and rainicane all rolled into one, I think it's wise to re-schedule the trail marker hanging party until Sunday, 3/21. Let's plan on meeting at lot 4 at 9:00 AM. If the snow part of Bear Creek makes it through the weekend, next Sunday will be pond skimming probably around noon. If we have enough help, we should be able to finish by then to watch 3 people out of 100 actually make it across the pond.
Let me know if you can make it.
http://www.endurancesportsexpo.com/venue.html This is a multi sport expo which seems to have a pretty big amount of vendors/ companies showing up by the looks of the site. I will be helping cannondale and if your well behaved you can demo my 19.5lb carbon29r flash which i'm racing this year. (if it shows up) . I'll also be wondering around promoting the transylvaniaepic.
Bear Creeks trail system has been open all winter and it has drained pretty well historically. I don't know exactly how the snow cover is on some of the trails that are close to the slopes, but from what I could see deeper in, it seems most are clear.
I'll take a closer look tonight and if it looks good I am going to probably give it a go Sunday morning if it isn't raining.
The section of trail between Savage Rd and Airport Rd is very soft. The part of trail thats along Bicentennial Park is still snow and ice covered for about a half mile. The first and last section of trail isn't to bad.
Hi all,
What a great site to see!

Some deep snow lies ahead.. keep your speed.

Ahhh the view!

The Tohickon Creek in Bucks County is at or above Dam release levels from Nockamixon State Park.
