All Throughout The Kingdom

As you may have read in a few posts I put up last week, I was heading to The Kingdom Trails in VT this past weekend with the Three John's, my neighbor Pat and couple of other terrific guys Josh and Scotty that started riding with us in our little group. All I can say is if you haven't been to the KT's yet, GET THERE!!!. It is really different riding from here, but not in a bad way, but in a "Wow, this is Friggin Cool" way.

Lofty/Delano

Anyone here familiar with Delano area trails? They're closer to most of you than to me. Rode there today with an ex-local. Although the trails are mostly moto-inspired, the quality of riding is top-notch! Only 13 miles today, but I feel we barely scratched the surface.

Upper Chainsaw and the Pumptrack open this weekend !

Upper Chainsaw and the pumptrack are opening this weekend for riding. Upper Chainsaw is a new intermediate trail located in the middle of the mountain of The Blue Route. This trail was inspired by the one and only Chainsaw Mike and was molded by by the crew. Benchcut with some berms, rollers, and a not so steep pitch, this trail will be a great addition for everyone.

My first commando ride was a big hit!

Actually Jeremy and Steve were on Big Hits, I was on my Enduro. But seriously, the Command Post is awesome. My first run at Blue I set it regular height. Then halfway down. Then all the way down. What a difference! When we had to pedal uphill for a short bit - press the button, zoom! Right back up - return of the leg power. Rich you have to get one of these! I can’t wait to use it at Sals and Lehigh.

Snakes

Read in the newspaper about an ATV rider who got stuck out in the wilderness somewhere and when he got off the ATV to try to free himself he got bit by a snake :yikes: Can't remember many more of the details but he was recupriating in the hospital in satisfactory condition. Got me thinking, and gave me a serious case of the heebie-jeebie's on my last ride when I was out in the middle of nowhere and dismounted my trusty Kona to put back on my chain that jumped off. The voices in my head kept asking...what in the F would I do if I got bit while out on the trail??????
