So I've been toying wiht the idea of getting one of those new led systems. My homebrewed halogen is nice and plenty bright, but I want longer run times. Swapping out NiCad RC batteries every 45 minutes midride for my helmet lite is a PITA.
This Tuesday, May 26th, Downhill Dave Harms and the Downingtown crew are coming up for a night loop at Sals. They are psyched and ready to rip. We will be riding at 8:30pm, doing the loop counter-clockwise. It should be pretty silly. Tentatively from the Dialysis Ctr, but I will post to confirm. See you there?
Okay, so I got this road bike the other day. I hope it will help my endurance for mtn biking. So, does anyone have a suggestion for a route, perhaps in the 20-30 mile range leaving from West Bethlehem that doesn't have a lot of traffic? I just want to get out for a quick ride after work, but leave from home.

i want to thank...i believe its joe and sorry i forgot the name of the young woman u were with....i met them on the salisbury trails....i am a runner and due to a back injury the doc told me i shuld not run...so i went out and bought a bike 2 weeks ago and luvin the life so far :thumbsup: ...it was only my second time there and i stumbled upon them while just exploring...they were very cordial and told me to check out this site...so i did...just wanted to thank them....

PENN STATE CONDUCTING SURVEY IN JORDAN PARK
Users of the City of Allentown’s Jordan Park will be asked to participate in a park survey conducted by researchers from Penn State University.
We were featured on the Great Outdoors show last night. Wondered if anyone caught it. It will be featured again Saturday morning, I'll get an exact time if anyone wants to catch it. There will be 3 more of these shows featuring the trails, trail building, and the events. This past show PMBA, Mark from A-1 Landscaping, and PRO rider Stephanie Gubernat were interviewed on the show. The clip was about 5-7 min long and also featured Barb from Blue with her thoughts on where she would like to see this go. Thanks to Val Geist and the rest of the crew on making this happen.
