Turkey costumes are recommended.....

Participants must sign up on the VMB website for the particular event date.
This will be a group ride. (individuals do not have permission to night ride)
The group may split up for different riding ability levels.
Helmets are required.
Participants will sign in prior to riding and check out at the end of the ride.
Parking is allowed only at the Tower road parking lot, NO PARKING is permitted along Tower road. (carpool)
Everyone must be out of the park by 8:30.
Hunting seasons are in and the trail does travel through approved hunting areas.

I know its short notice but I'm heading down to white clay tomorrow for a ride. I would car pool but I'm going to continue on to Richmond from white clay. Anyone interested in blasting around the trails for a while is welcome.

All riders are welcome. We stop and re-group often, nobody ever gets dropped.

Meeting Location: dirt parking lot at the intersection of Seidersville Rd. and Mountain Dr.

Ride Time: Meet at 5:15, riding by 5:30 (we start riding as soon as everyone that signed up arrives, or 5:30 - whichever comes first)

Ride will be followed by a stop for food and :beer:

With the recent dog restrictions , dakota is shocked and awpawed. he asked me to post a doggie ride. he asked for only fit dogs that can bang a 1.5hr loop. meet at dodson . debark at 915. birth of 2028 xc marathon olympic gold champion will postpone this ride so check thread. feel free to just drop your dog off to ride with us. he really doesnt care for the extra humans anyway. (kidding ) where thick socks, he bites ankles. ( kidding ) or am I?

400th Annual Tice-Medellin Thanksgiving Morning MTB Ride

Here it is folks!! The event you've all been waiting for. The 400th (yes I said 400th) Annual Tice-Medellin Thanksgiving morning MTB ride. The longest running MTB ride in the western hemishpere!!

Come on out on Thanksgiving morning to ride South Mountain and be part of history. Ride the ride whose first participants included such notables as Miles Standish, Squanto, Pocohantas, Captain John Smith, Bernie Connelly and Jim Tice.

This should be a really cool ride. The shale will glisten and be really bright, and conditions should be perfect. The trail network will be outstanding at night. Call me if you have questions (610-417-6493).

Open location, suggestions welcome. Sals and Jordan are fully cleared, SMB sounds like it is somewhat cleared. SME and Trex still need work. Other suggestions?

8:15 Trivet Diner (rt. 309 and Tilghman St) for breakfast

9:00 Rear of Kmart (Tilghman St. near the Turnpike entrance) parking lot to carpool

10:15 Wissahickon (Northwestern Ave. paking area)

Meet up at any of the times/places listed, but please let me know what your plans are so we know to wait or not.
