Come ride some of the most wanted bikes on the Market :rant: ! Pivot Cycles will be at Jacobsburg State Park on May 25th from 6:30-8:30pm. Ride along on the SVBikes shop ride, or just go solo & ride the hell out of these bikes! Followed up by :beer: at Deverys! What a night! Hope to see you there
Got 3 day lift tickets for Christmas and it is time to play. Calendar is filling up fast so I am planning them now. If anyone who has not been there and wants to try it out I encourage you to go. I am a beginner at DH and had a blast last year. Bikes and some protective equipment are available to rent so no excuses.
Every Wednesday we will be leading 2 rides from the tennis court parking lot at Jordan Creek Parkway so there is something available for everybody.
1. Social, casual pace ride. This ride will stop frequently to regroup and cover approximately 8-10 miles. Expect to ride until 7:15 or so.
2. Fast paced training ride. This ride is intended for those riders seeking more riding and less socializing. We will cover approximately 15-20 miles and ride until 7:15-7:30 or until it gets dark.
I'll be riding the Lehigh towpath. Leaving my place at 6:00 should get to THE DEPOT parking lot (Sand Island) by about 6:15. Ride to Glendon and back. I'm not really sure how long this will take. Pretty sure my estimate is high.
I guess I'd say it's a medium pace. This is all about getting some base miles and trying to regain some fitness.
The more people, the less scary the towpath at night is.
We might even see Don coming the opposite way from Easton.
