2 great days of riding

Day one:
Met up with the boys for the JT ride on Sunday. I was actually nervous about riding with these guys. Many of them I had not ridden with before and was unsure weather I could hang or not. Heading up the Switchback to Summit Hill I could tell the pace was going to be just a bit speedier than I am used to (my thought - Suck it up Muto, don't puss out). But after a few short breaks early I felt ready.

Report from my first 13 hour Race

I headed down to VA this weekend to try my first 13 hour Solo race. Hung, with Jamie, Ted and Dean, as well as a big crew from Bike Line and the Spot crew, I saw the Carters on the start line as well as topher and company I went back and forth with Jamie, topher and some other dude that hangs with topher for a few laps, got a little help with my wheel from Austin but I didn' get a chance to link up with Mike C.

A big thanks to Fat marc for hooking me up with a coke when I needed it, It totally turned my race around.

i rode 2 miles and i can't walk

well, i dont' hide it but i do ride other than mtn bike and it simply b/c versatility is essential with kids/jobs/stink eyed significant others so i do road. After watching a few friday nights i always wondered what it was like to going around the concrete oval. so i jumped in the water w/o looking. i bought an entry level track bike and went for it.

I think its time to hurt myself!

Yeah, I am sitting here in my living room drinking a few beers thinking about registering for the Leesburg bakers dozen. This will be the longest day in the saddle for me, but only by a few hours.

I feel sort of guilty paying the 90 dollar entry fee and driving 3 hours to race when I dont have a job......but I sit here thinking-I am probably at my strongest since I started riding-you gotta let the dogs Run!
