Vermont: Stowe and Kingdom Trails..another thread....
HI all,
Well, I'm combining my trip to Stowe, VT for a Critical Care conference 3rd week of October with my first ever MTB mini vacation and looking for some tips. Best part is that while I'm at the conference hotel/meals are paid for by work!!!
Plan on head up to Kingdom Trails first for 2-3 days of riding. Still deciding on where to stay since that is on my dime.
Cutter's Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting w/ Mayor John Callahan
This was a fun event. I had the pleasure of meeting John and Lisa Ronca - great people and extremely congenial. Sophia and I felt welcome immediately.
Also met our Mayor, John. I like when leaders in our community are excited about entrepreneurs like John and Lisa and events like this. He was very approachable. Not surprised he once worked at Pfizer (where I work).
Some really nice bikes in their shop too...glad it was a special event and I couldn't really shop.
Wishing them the best of luck with the store.
PS: Greg, I got my VMB stickers - thanks!
...on to the pictures!
Not intentionally being a stranger
Hey gang. Just thought I'd post that my fatherly duties with my 7 year old have been rather intense the last few weekends and will remain that way for most of September.
Since I only get to see her weekends I usually opt to take her more than I'm legally permitted if the X offers it.
End of September however I'll have some free time on the weekend to finally join a ride or event.
Going to bring her with me to Cutters Grand Opening tomorrow though...she might enjoy that.

If you're already skilled, you're guaranteed to learn something new.
If you don't know nuthin', you'll be amazed at what you'll learn.
Even if you don't plan to design your own trail -- it'll explain concepts that come up during a trail-building or maintenance day.

Warning: car thefts at SLB
Hi all,
Just wanted to share a mass email that we got at St. Luke's.
It would be useful knowledge to those that ride Sal's using the Dialysis lot and parking garage.
There have been in increasing number of car break-ins in the parking lots.
Below is the email we got from security.
Just an FYI.........
