I didn't really want to tell anyone but here is my new giant slide i've been working on at blue. No lift pass needed :ihih:

Anyone interested in a Sunday breakFAST ride at SALS or elsewhere? Maybe thinking of starting around 7ish.

Are there regular groups that go out on the weekends? I see a lot of Wed rides but not much on the weekends. Is it catch as catch can?

I stopped in at a local bike shop close to where I work in NJ to simply get a new tube for my rear tire; Garden State Bicycles. Walked out a lot poorer after chatting for about 30 minutes with one of the tech's.

I probably should make sure I'm stocked up on band aids and antibiotic ointment also before I put these on my Trek. These will be my 1st set of clip-in pedals.

Tentative JORBA Bike Fest Schedule, 9/12/2009

Hey folks, it is almost time for the 2nd AnnualJORBA Bike Festival. As most of you know, the festival will be on Saturday, September 12th at the Waterloo Concert Field in Stanhope, NJ. For more information, please visit http://bikefest.jorba.org.

I wanted to post up the tentative schedule for this year’s festival. As you can see, it is quite packed with events, rides and shows. It has all the makings of a great time, just like last year.

I might be hosting one or more out of town colleagues from work this Fall who happen to be avid adventure sports people...our kind a people ya' know.

I'd like to offer an afternoon riding one of the trails but they will need bikes and helmets.

I could use a source of a shop that would rent front suspension or even a full suspension bikes for a few days.

Been biking for years and recently started doing a lot of trail biking...and love it. Looking forward to hitting a few of the trails you folks work hard to create...and help out too.
