change tire pressure wet/slippery conditions?
HI all,
Doesn't fit in the other forums, post it here
HI all,
I spotted Jonk yesterday and he wasn't at Blue Mt. getting his Jump On. He has been institutionalized. I was present while they took his picture. He was nearly undetected without his glasses, but the permanent grin was a dead giveaway.
Good luck Jonk in your adventure into higher learning.
Time to keep a look out for Geothermal..........
So, uh, where the hell is (vegan) Rob? I miss him!
Abbie, Josslin and I spent the weekend at Raystown and all I can say is FAST!!!!
All of you were right! It's so different, but so totally awesome. If Trex can be even remotely similar to Raystown it will be huge for this area.
The club officers have decided to take a summer vacation for July. Actually, we're scheming some trail and club-shwag related stuff that we'll share with you at the end of July or maybe August.
In the meantime, keep your calendar open for another weekend destination ride and maybe a maintenance day at Salisbury. And, don't forget about the next big build day at Trexler Nature Preserve on August 8th.
Hope you're having a fun summer — filled with memorable rides.
Doug
I am a newbie(10 days) to mountain biking and new to VMB as well. Just rode Jordan and it was amazing but found myself backtracking as I do not know the trails.
Anyone with a map, please help.
I also may create a map eventually as I enjoy the challenge. I am a graphic designer and look to create and eventually publish a map but tend to be detailed oriented and want it to be accurate. any advice is appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike
I was thinking about heading up there this weekend. Thanks.
Just read this article in the NY Times about the positive effects on the immune system that come from spending time in forests and parks. More reason to get out and ride the trails!

Hey gang, I am putting some "feelers" out to maybe help my parents find a new home for their Golden Retriever, Barnaby. He is a pure bred golden that will be two in November, and is pretty large, probably 85lbs. He is a lovely dog, but my parents are in their late 70's and this dog is proving to be quite the handful for them. Basically, what this dog needs is a lot of exercise, which he doesn't really get, so he is quite the handful. I think he would make an ideal MTB dog, thus the reason I am trying I am posting here.
