It is bittersweet for me right now. I am loving the idea of getting some fresh snow to rip up on the slopes. BUT, I am getting the bike itch. With less than 2 weeks until DST, I have to admit that riding is beginning to consume much of my thoughts.
Stay tuned for an event I will probably call Cali Day. This is where I annually go skiing in the morning and then break for lunch and ride local trails in the afternoon. It will get put on the scheduler sometime in March. So, if you are a dual season 'rider' I'd love some company, but joining me on either leg is just fine too.
Having Bob as a webmaster is like a never-ending eye test. Each time I log-on something has been improved. It's like -- wait a sec -- that wasn't like that a minute ago!!
VERY nice! Bob.
Doing the xc ski thing Wed morning, as long as the snow quality is good. 8am, @ Stabler arena. Keep me posted if you are interested. This would be a great way for someone in the contest to earn some time.
The Whitehall Parkway (By Sheetz And the Quarrys) we were just there yesterday
its pretty cool riding along Huge quarry walls Even though there are not alot of ridable areas you can get onto the Iorton Rail trail
Does any one else go here often
Hi, allow me to introduce myself. I'm originally from the SE Michigan area (Ann Arbor), and will be graduating from Purdue University in May. I'll be moving to Allentown in July to start my career with Air Products. I grew up riding BMX and soon moved on to mountain bikes. I did a lot of racing in the MWCCC with other midwest colleges, some DS but mostly XC. My only taste of PA mountain biking is 2005 Collegiate Mountain Bike Nationals at Seven Springs.
People are like Christmas Trees, They're all unique & none are perfect
While those other cold weather nut bags are having their contest{I guess I would qualify as a nut bag}, I'm proposing a contest for those of you that hate riding in the cold. Winner will get a SVBikes Gift Card!! No gels that people hate{No offense Rob}, you can get whatever you want to put it towards!!
Spent the weekend riding down on the York River Peninsula (Richmond out to Newport News). The EVMA has built some really cool singletrack parks down there. Check out EVMA.ORG . Their website isn't as cool as ours!
