Perhaps some would question the worth in riding 4 hours in the driving rain when it is below 50 degrees and there is a heavy amount of grit on the road. Why bother getting the bike wet and nasty, ruining the drivetrain, seat, brake pads and clothing?

Why not? Why not make it merry with five riders of similar ilk and one whom continues to baffle all with unique fashion sense?

Punching the Clown

Many of you know Downingtown Ted, or at least know of the jumps in his backyard. Ted was all excited to be signed up the this weeks Point Shark Century, but he might be sitting on the bench. Here is his story from today (yes, this is a true story).

....Conditions ....pretty much sums the weekend up right now, Friday night spinning around the block on the new ride (xam! were cookin like freakin emeril) inthe snow - sucking wind pretty quick though! Saturday fresh 6-8" superlight poe at greek peak NY made for fresh tracks all over the mountiain in the morning - made the super sucky super early morning drive worth while - gotta love the grooming / lack of up there!

I'm working on a letter which will update everyone on the progress at Salisbury and I'm looking for images from Salisbury to incorporate.

Trail work -- rock work in particular, riding, anything you think might be interesting.
