I just got back into riding. I have been going to french creek and Green Lane Res. 3 times aweek. My friend Nate and Dan had talked abt. Sals and figured I'd look into it. My brother sent me this link to the site and figured if I'm going to ride there I'd like to help out with the maintence. Since I know how hard it its to keep trails open and clean. Just wanted to say hi to everyone. Also if anyone needs signs decals stickers and t-shirts printed thats what I do. Inside Out Images, Quakertown, Pa.

Bernie needs bike for Thurs.

Yup, Two Turn Bern has broken yet another frame. Just in case James' bike does not fit (or work), Bernie wanted me to send out the word for a back-up. Bernie is about 5'10" or 11". Bernie really really does not want to miss this of all rides. Please make his day. If you have something, call him @ 610.866.7265 as he does not have email.

Natural lines

Here's a photo I found on my computer that I downloaded along time ago. Check out the swoopy natural berm they created with a reversal on the other side. You need two opposing hills with some drain to do this and they have to be pretty close. Not always easy to find here where the hills tend to be linear and not opposing.

swoops

Thanks Bob

As always, the entire club thanks you for an excellent website design.

Dig the changes I can see, plus I'm guessing there must be underlying stuff that I can't.

Where would we be without you?

Favorite MTB magazine?

Hi everyone,

Well as my birthday and Christmas rapidly approach I thought I'd ask for a MTB magazine subscription for a year.
Reading is another favorite past time of mine and I really enjoy getting magazine subscriptions as a gift. So, if I can combine 2 of my favorite past times as a gift that's like a double bonus!! Biggrin

Help me pick which mag to ask for!

What is your favorite MTB mag and why.

gloves

i am thinking about stopping over at action wheels today for some gloves-the kind that cover my whole hand. it's getting a little windy out there. anyone care to give a recommendation? thanks a bunch!

Single Speed Question

I built a single speed hardtail up from scraps from the boys bikes. I rode it for the first time today in Jordan and I think I chose the wrong gearing. It's set up with a 36 tooth front chainring and a 18 tooth cog on the back (52" gearing). It felt like it was too big of a gear to push. Any suggestions? By the way, outside of the gearing issue, it was the most fun I've had on a bike in a while (not counting Saturday night, Joe!). I cleared every log crossing I came to, which is a first for me, just ask Jonk and AndyK.
