So lift access is closed. Shuttle riding is starting up again. Sundays only due to hunting season at Glen Park.
meeting time is usually 11am and sunset pretty much closes up the day.

I'm cleaning out the closet again folks- I have some random jerseys that I don't use or don't fit into, so if you need a jersey please let me know. Some are used, some are new (things won at races, etc) but all have plenty of life left. Sizes are mostly L and XL, and I think I have a medium or two in there as well, both long and short sleeve. I would rather give them away than toss them.

Thanks everyone for coming out to visit Blue Mountain this season. My wife and I had a great first season with everyone, met new people at races, footdown, weekends, etc. Next year were looking forward to getting more DH Rentals, more trails/features, more Super D racing, etc.

sponsored by DCNR I've been rebuilding the Scout trail. a Small spur that connects from the top of Big Pocono and South Trail.

Some of the works are; building a natural rock crib wall with natural step down..
removing a natural staircase and reclaiming the ground
constructing with all natural material a bermed J turn near the connection to South Trail

On my way east yesterday, I ran into webmaster Bob — who I don't get to see often enough these days. As we said goodbye, a younger rider on cyclocross bike rode by. We ended up riding together and chewing each other's ear all the way to Easton. Really nice guy who I'd never before met but we shared several acquaintances.

On my way back west I came across a group of boy scouts riding 25 miles to earn a badge. I shared a few words of encouragement that probably weren't necessary because they were all smiles and having a blast.

I was running on the upper red toward Constitution when I saw a six point buck laying in the middle of the trail!, just before John's connector to the lower red. He was just hanging out there.

He lifted his head a little higher and stared at me as if to say, "Don't even think about making me move!" I turned around to go the other way and then he bolted down the hill. Crazy! :out:

Ladies welcome but not exclusive. Thinking of riding around 1pm doing a figure 8 loop using connector trail, something different for a change.

11/6-11/7 is the last weekend lifts will be open, go check it out.

Course is taped ..... Blue Rt .... Balboa ....Blue Rt ..... sneak uphill ..... Chainsaw ...... Super D Connector ...... Turkey Belt ...... ???? = Frickin sweet track !!! Trails are leaf blown and it sick condition. This race course is very raceable on an xc bike for those that aren't sure. Don't know the real choice bike bit it probably depends on your conditioning. The downhill track is a peddlar also but super fun. Blue Rt .... Chainsaw .... Gobblers ..... Lower Turkey Belt. Fall colors are in full effect and we hope to see you on the trails !!
