alright so i've been doing some research on what kind of pedals to get and i'm a bit stuck. i dont know if i really like the idea of being clipped in to the pedals, but at the same time the extra efficiency when pedaling is appealling. beings that i'm new to the sport, i think the ability to bail is going to be crucial, i dont want to get stuck to the bike. for this reason i'm leaning towards platforms, i think..

what kind of pedals do you use, or have you used? and what would you recommend!? :poke: thanks!!

Saturday night looks like a good one for a local corn maze ride. If there is interest, I know of a really good one. We will ride from Bethlehem with lights on, then it is lights out. If interested, reply here by 5:00pm Saturday and I will set it up. We will meet at Wegmans in Bethlehem on the western side of the building at a prescribed time.

If you're wondering what the rush is with Sunday hunting legislation in a Pennsylvania legislature that normally moves at a, um, "deliberative" pace here's the other part of the answer (along with legislators running for re-election next year wanting the hunting lobby's vote). General FYI: You gotta start wearing orange at Nockamixon now. Hunting with shotguns has started. I was there late in the afternoon just before dusk and the hunters are sitting very close to the trail. They have indicated that they are not happy that so many mtbrs aren't wearing orange there and that they are riding up on them unexpected, creating unsafe situations.
