The good folks at Shenandoah Mountain Touring put on a killer festival over memorial day weekend -- the VA MTB Festival. They have a ton of great trails, and I mean the riding is awesome. The overall vibe is pretty laid back as all good festivals are, and the scenery, climbs/descents and singletrack are amazing. Great folks, and a bonus is hitting up the IMBA trail network at Massanutten Ski Resort on the way down, then driving Skyline Drive on the way back chasing the sunset. Check it out here:

Anybody lose an ultimate direction gel bottle? Found it on the yellow trail. Was going to leave it at dodson lot a couple weeks ago but forgot it in my pack.

Looking for ride leaders this spring/summer/fall to well....lead rides of course!
This is the VMB 2012 summer of love and positive motivation.

To be honest I am not familiar with about 1/2 of the places listed so help is needed to 1) lead the rides 2) explain where they are to those who want to join with the group 3) what type of terrain/mileage expected and 4) post a day you can lead them preferably on a Sunday so Jared can join :poke:

Ideally, rides should be planned at least a few weeks in advance so others can arrange schedules if needed.

I just confirmed with our Scott rep that they will be rollin up in the Scott Demo Truck on Wednesday, May 16, to let all of the good people of the Lehigh Valley ride their sweet bikes. They will have different sizes and models of the Spark 26 and 29 mountain bikes and new Foil road bikes. We are still planning this event, so there will be more details to follow.

Noticed it was missing on Lower Jay Walk, but could've fallen out anywhere between there and lower Hammer. It's black, plastic, the kind with a lag-bolt like screw on the end that's *supposed* to keep 'em from falling out in the first place.

Not a big deal at all, but in the unlikely event that someone happens to find it - let me know and you'll score a free beer in addition to good karma.
