There are numerous votes cast to oust some of the members that were nominated to be on this year's board. Fake users were created by some members in order to oust some of the nominees up for member approval. Only one vote is allowed per member, dead dogs (Kenny) are not members of VMB and should not have a vote in the approval of a board nominee. There are several other questionable names that appear in the polls that could, or could not, be PAID members of the club. If that is the case, then I guess I'll sign my wife and four kids up on the site so they can vote too!

So what is the likelyhood of getting some apparel for the club? It would be pretty cool to have some hats, tees and riding jersey's to represent the club. VMB could use it like IMBA does with different levels of membership based on money spent. We could also sell it on the website, events, and meetings. I know IMBA uses primal gear and I would be happy to do the research and help facilitate this.

VMBers, the 2016 VMB board nominations are posted in the member's lounge. All paid members (and if you're not a paid member yet, now is a most excellent time to join!) should take a minute and confirm the board members with a simple yes or no vote.

What tires do you guys and gals run tubeless, alot 27.5 I know. Tell me any tires you didn't like running tubeless. Please

I'd like to recommend Eric Dunlap be nominated for the board.

Eric has been an active member and a key part of VMB.
Eric was one of the folks who made the last Steel City Enduro a success.
He has also tirelessly helped with many trail work days.

Eric's also a great rider and is a model for what VMB is about.

Hey everyone, here's the latest on the trails at Trex and update on the Autumn Olive removal.

The county will be clearing the section of Buck Run and expects to have it open for the weekend. This is the uphill doubletrack corridor from Brian's Trail leading up toward Broken Arrow. Once it's clear it would be great to get a report from someone on the actual conditions--to make sure it's safe and in good riding condition.

Fellow VMBers, we'll be accepting recommendations for the 2016 Board until Monday, the 21st. If you are interested in running, or want to nominate someone else, please let an officer know! Or nominate them here--just make sure they want to do it first.

Andrew has put out some recommendations, and we'd love to have more from you. The board plays a critical role in decision making and we're looking for people who want to get involved, contribute and make a difference.

Any suggestions? 200 lb. rider. Any experience with these? Easton ea70 with carbon rims or Easton Havens? Or I could go Giant aftermarket xcr1's. Or should I just switch to 27.5 bike? I ride Giant trancex 29er.
