Oldschool Trials Photo

This is a really old trials photo of original EWR Bikes Factory rider Jason McLean, from around 1994. He is riding my personal bike for some reason, and showing killer form. Looking like he is just levitating, he is caught here in the transition from the initial launch arc'ing forward and absorbing the landing perfectly.

Spiked Nevegal

Old school spiked tires. Been doing tires for winter/ice this way for about 20+ yrs, read it an MTB maga back before they had studded tires.

Usually you can get a way with 1 on the front, but on frozen lakes & lots of ice 2 work GREAT!

Its ON!

All we heard as he ran down the stairs was "JUST LIKE I ASKED FOR! A RED TWO-WHEELED BIKE!!!!"

EWR OWB 29er Launch

Greetings Folks!

Welcome to our pre-launch of the OWB29er. All of us at EWR Bikes are proud and super-stoked to be sending this out to you for a sneak peak. What you see here is our hot new, mint as money OWB29er! The goal was to mimic the handling and heritage of the 26" OWB (Original Woods Bike) on a 29" wheeled platform, and the result is even better that I expected. Tonight was our first shakedown ride and pre-race break-in. We, as well as many of you, have been waiting with such anticipation -- here is what I've found out:

who put their stupid bike next to mine

i stopped by the barn today at the Concrete Crater(it's where bikes are stored) and i'm like "who's bike is this now!?" b/c we rent a storage space and when a different bike you notice. I look a little closer and i notice the Slipstream/Chipolte paint scheme and i jokingly thought "who would buy a team replica?" Seriously though, i looked at the name on it and it said "Friedman". Holy Sh..... it's probably the best road racer in the country right now and probably going to the olympics this year. I shrunk to 1/2 inch and was humbled.

Large 29er Proto

Here is a side profile of the Large 29er Proto. Check the standover... I wish we could clear coat the raw frame as the colors in the heat-effect zones from welding are so pretty. What do you guys think?

EWR 29er Prototypes

Here are my two Med. and Lrg. 29er prototypes (you can tell which is which by the head tube length) sitting out in the sun, curing. We align them with the power of the sun's rays and burning sage and inscence while chanting.

Look closely and you can see thay they are finish welded, but have no braze-ons. They are being fitted as I write and are then going next-day to our painter for a new flashy colour that we'll only use for our prototype test mules. Yippee! Rideable proto demo rides soon...
