World's Phattest Skinny Log Ride
Enjoy the ride!!
Enjoy the ride!!
John almost died today coming into the area where the trail work was just done-someone threw rocks all in the middle of the trail. He was going to move them so noone else gets hurt.
Banked right turn reinforced with rock to avoid the mud hole that forms right below there. Trail stays up high and will have great flow.
Sals trailwork, improved the line on the lower red trail as you cross under the power lines by the old hobo camp. Should allow better flow at the bottom of the rocky section going into the left hand turn.
Here's what is left of Joe's cool log ride at Sals. He had approval to build it and spent a lot of time working on it . Someone decided it wasn't needed or wanted and cut it up with a chainsaw.
Here an example of what I'm talking about with Sals and how I think the Sals trail committee is sleep walking backwards .
This is the section of the red trail before the 3B's and right before John's connector trail. This is the upper red just after you cross the power line.
This is the very first trail I worked on at Sals. John and I worked on this and the other crew worked on the Spanky on the other side of Consitution.
We need your help to complete this 1.2 mile trail section. Completion of this section will connect the existing trail network to the fireman's trail (completed), and county double track creating an additional 3 mile loop. Most of this trail is rideable however a huge log pile must be cut out to finish flagging in the connection to the fireman's trail. The focus of Sunday's work will be bench-cutting the upper section between the 2 arrows.
Holy Moly, DirtsculptDave has added super cool, yet safe features on the Dozer. What was once mundane is now bad ass fun.
The 270 berm near the bottom (not pictured) offer serious g-force effects at speed. No snoozing!
100 yards out of the parking lot trail bear left. Joins top of HP!. Feedback requested.
