4th Annual Triple X TrexxxFest Halloween XC Enduro and X-Treme kids Race is ON!!

We have been given permission by the county to hold our family friendly fun race event in October.  The date of the event is still up in the air but planning must start now.  We will be holding a planning meeting at Fitness Central in Schnecksville on Wednesday, August 10th at 6pm to go ove the details.

We will discuss:

1.       Date of the event

2.       Volunteers

3.       Course layout

4.       Sponsorship

We have a lot of exciting topics and important issues to cover at this board meeting. All VMB members are invited to attend and listen in. 

The event will be held at Bear Creek Resort (confirmed: Second Floor above Ski Patrol, not in the hotel). In addition to the standard meeting agenda (welcome, revenue, review of last meeting, old business, new business) we'll dig into the following:

Now that we finally have our new board in place we will get to work for our members. This meeting as all of my Board meetings are open to all current, potential and past members. In addition to the rough agenda we like to hear from our members. The meeting will be held at Allentown Brew Works 812 Hamilton St, Allentown, PA 18101.

High school mountain biking (NICA) is coming to PA!

3rd Annual Triple XXX TrexxxFest Halloween XC Enduro and X-Treme kids race planning meeting.

We will hold this meeting at Fitness Central on Thursday, July 30th at 7pm. We will be discussing some of the logistics of the race including:
-registration
-expo area
-parking
-prizes
-food vending
-trail work
-course layout
-rain date
-AO removal project
-alternate race date

VMB's board will meet Monday from 7-8 preceding the IMBA Q&A session. This will be at Hello Burrito, also.

As always, members are always welcome. The agenda includes: IMBA Chapter Application update (a limited discussion since we'll lots of time to talk about with the IMBA rep later in the evening), 2015 Board planning, develop a corporate Sponsor plans, race/event update, trail plans, and regular club business.

As we complete our application to become an IMBA chapter club, a lot of good, important questions have come up. We're still fully committed to this move and to explain what it means for us, we've invited Anthony Duncan, IMBA's Mid-Atlantic Regional Director, to hold an informal Q&A about the process, and what we can expect as an IMBA chapter club.
