Mountain Biking NOX Out Litter

Date:
Sat, 04/20/2013 - 9:00am to 12:00pm

As many members know, Valley Mountain Bikers began participating in PennDOT's Adopt-a-Highway last year along a two-mile stretch of Route 563 (Mountainview Drive) in Haycock and Nockamixon townships bordering Nockamixon State Park.

As a part of the 2013 "Great American Cleanup of PA / Let's Pick It Up PA - Everyday" events we have scheduled one of our four yearly cleanups for Saturday 4-20-2013. It is scheduled for three hours but shouldn't take nearly that long as we cleaned up a decent amount of accumulated trash last December.

Easter ramble in the bramble egg hunt

Date:
Sun, 03/24/2013 - 12:00pm to 1:00pm

This is an event for kids and grandkids up to age 16 i guess. Every child should bring a bike, helmet and a backpack. Children will be divided into groups. At the end of their designated trail, they will go back and hunt for eggs. then ride back to the parking lot for a fun silly string battle.

An egg hunt for the little ones that cannot ride will be held near the parking lot.

I have lots of prizes for the kid raffle, from the bike industry, including a set of 26" sun ringle wheels.

Please comment on how many kids coming along with age and riding ability.

highLANDhighLANDhighLAND weeeeetrip! Rescheduled

Date:
Thu, 08/01/2013 - 10:00am to Sun, 08/04/2013 - 5:00pm

This place is awesome. Great for all levels and the vibe is sweeeeet! If you have never tried DH before this is a good place to start and get your groove on. I'm stoked right now just thinking about it. Bring your DJ bike also if you got one.

After a hard day of riding, with that pasted grin you just can't seem to wipe off your face, we'll go down to Onions for some great food, beer and harass Karen who makes one kick ass chocolate cherry martini.

Nobody's leaving until they do the "potato chip" drop on Hellion. That's an easy one. :cornut:
