Trailwork

VMB is joining with the Wildands Conservancy and many of their volunteers to work on the new trail at South Mountain Emmaus.

The workday will run from 9 am to 1 pm and we'll focus mostly on opening up the trail corridor. Bring loppers and small hand saws if you have them. 

Meeting place and location TBD--we'll update as soon as we have confirmation. Wildlands is working to get permission from a private landowner nearby to access the property for the trailwork day.

Description: We will be widening the corridor of Fireman’s trail this Sunday. Park near the covered bridge on Game Preserve road.

Activities include:

Moore building going on. 

Meet at the Appalachian Park lot on skunk rd, bath. Bring gloves, boots, safety glasses, water and snacks. Tools will be there or bring your own if you prefer. Will be clearing corridor, hunting for clay, and moving rocks. 

Come be part of the team to kick off the trail work at Appalachian Park in Moore Township. This is a brand new trail system and we need your help to build get it done. 

We're informally calling the trail system Moore Fun at Appalachian Park and it's going to be 6 to 8 miles of flowing technical (yeah, it's totally possible) rocky goodness. We're starting Saturday with the first quarter mile of flagged terrain.

Come on out and help get the trails ready for the summer riding season! We'll be clearing debris and generally making the trails look good.

Bring loppers, rakes, shovels, and buckets if you've got 'em. 

Meet at Dodson Street Park at 9:00am.
