Trexler Trailwork: Bushwhacking Fireman's

 Earn your turns at Trexler Nature Preserve.
   

Description: We will be widening the corridor of Fireman’s trail this Sunday. Park near the covered bridge on Game Preserve road.

Activities include:

• - observing trail goers and managing the safety of all on the trail. 
• - the use of various types of saws. 
• - lifting. 
• - dragging
• - crawling. 
• - tucking brush into the surrounding brush.

Warnings include

• - autumn olive and other brush have thorns. 
• - brush removal could lead to scrapes and scratches. 
• - danger lurks, know your surroundings and exits routes. 
• - wildlife may be present and not easily scared off or thwarted. 
• - a safety briefing prior to activities will be conducted.
