Should we plan a test dig through the autumn olive? In October?
See if its feasible to wind a trail thru that mess?
Doesn't fit in the other forums, post it here

Hello everyone. I'm just starting out doing any biking for the first time in years. I'm picking it up for a variety of reasons, but the main few are because I quit smoking a couple months ago (it's amazing how much time you sit around bored that you would've otherwise spent with cigarettes), I figure it would be a great way of getting exercise, and I love outdoor activities anyway. I guess I'm in fairly decent shape considering I only just quit a couple months ago.
Who all has (or has had) Lymes? I'm one victim, my son and one dog are too. Here's a site with lots of in depth info

Last week I broke my rocky mountain rasouli flow :cryin:, so I've been looking for a new frame my top choices would be a giant stp or a mountain cycle rumble. I also found a cheap azonic stealhead but I'm not sure about the frame. So if any one is selling a dirt jump/street/freeride hardtail for $250 or under please send me a message
I need a bike soon, I'm freaking out man :yikes:
thanks
here's a pic of my bike
Hey guys
There were a few requests last week on the Pompton ride for Lauras granola recipe so here it is.
Recipe is totally vegan I thought....although some hardcore vegans evidently dont eat honey....so take it for what its worth.
2/3 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup canola oil (or soy oil)
1/2 cup honey
3 cups rolled oats
1 cup sliced almonds
1/3 cup unsalted roasted sunflower seeds
1/3 cup sesame seeds
1/3 cup flax (or pumpkin) seeds
1 teaspoon vanilla
-Preheat oven to 300 (center rack)
-Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Spray with veg oil.
Looking for any old photos from the DH races that used to be held at Spring Mountain in Schwenksville, c. 2002. Exact year doesn't matter - just trying to show someone what the course looked like when a good friend of mine was one of two (count 'em, 2!) people dumb enough to enter the 'Hardtail DH' class. He stacked on the big drop at the bottom during a practice run and used a boulder to punch a neat hole in the top of his helmet.
Just curious: where does everyone park when riding at Sals?
Only time I've been there, I parked at the lower lot on Constitution. Didn't exactly get a really comfortable vibe driving in from Susquehanna. Not trying to sound paranoid, but I've had my car broken into enough while riding @ to be skeptical of urban parks w/ remote lots and little security.
Am I paranoid? Or is there a 'prefered' place to park (Dialysis Center? Dodson?)
And before anyone chimes in w/ the obvious - yeah, I know, don't leave anything valuable in the car, etc etc etc.
thx
Check out the cover of the latest "Bicycling Magazine"
John Ronca of Action Wheels made the cover of a national magazine road riding over by Stabler.
He is also pictured test riding the Specialized Roubaix inside as well.
Way to go John!
It's nice to know famous people. Now only if he could fix my damn fork!
Anybody seen or feel any effects of? I think I rode through one on the stinger at SML, luckily I was going downhill. Anybody else???
