My Custom 2003 Specialized S works Epic M5 with Brain Shock - The FIRST EPIC EVER....sorta...

The short story of this first ever Epic, is that I read about the new Specialized model in a bike magazine and had been looking for a new upgrade from my 2001 S-Works FSR. So I went down to my local bike shop and had them order a frame only, so I could custom build the bike. The Specialized rep on the other end of the phone, told the shop owner that the bike was so new, there wasn't even a part number for it....I was the first person in the world to order the bike. Hence, I got the first one available, in a frame only color of 'Sterling' which is a really sweet silvery color, but unlike any other silver I've seen before. All the parts on this beauty are specifically what I wanted and for no other rhyme or reason. The color scheme is silver and blue, as much blue as I could get in there! It's a size medium and it rocks!
