All this snow has me thinking about summertime weekend rides.
My idea is to post a place you'd really like to check out or return to. We compile a list and see how well we can do with organizing the ride and checking them off in 2010. I was thinking of destinations within about a two-hour driving radius, but let's see what we come up with...
I'm adding to this list as they're posted below. I'm caught up as of March 1.
Looks like we'll run out of weekends before we do places to hit.
1. Ringwood. I've always wanted to ride here and would like to finally make it happen this year. I have a guide lined up.
2. Merli-Sarnoski (aka Fell Mtn) Non-stop technical fun with a little east coast slickrock spattered in. Thanks Jason.
3. Waywayanda Haven't been there in ages! Thanks Jaime.
4. White Clay Ain't been yet. Everyone who has loves it! Jaime can you guide?
5. Swatara Never been here either. Can anyone lead this?
6. Prompton Merli-light? Greg and I could help with this one.
7. Lackawanna Only been there once and it was on a tandem. I recall wishing I had my SS.
8. Hubbard Maybe we can do another exchange ride with our pals at Hubbard. Let's pick some dates and invite them to Bethlehem!
9. Locust Lake We definitely have members who can help with this one.
10. RB Winter There's this one rocky-bastard of a climb that I'd like to clean!
