Join us for our 3rd Annual Fat Tire Social Night Ride at Ironton Rail Trail this year on Mischief Night (10/30/09).
Night riding off-road can be an eerie experience to begin with, but couple that with the Halloween Season and a chance encounter with some Ghosts and Goblins along the way (last year we rode into the Texas Chainsaw Massacre courtesy of Whitehall Fire Department's Haunted Parkway...) and you are in for one frightfully good time!
15 - 20 miles - very casual pace - mostly flat - mixed paved and gravel trails.
Start time: Leave from the Chestnut Street/Ruch Street Trailhead lot at 6:45 pm.
You'll need a headlight and taillight. Mountain bike, cyclecross, hybrid or other fat tire bike preferred. (And, don't forget your wool socks and full finger gloves because it gets pretty damp and chilly out there!)
Post ride Drinks & Dinner at Flavor Grillhouse/Rascals - 6616 Ruppsville Road, West Allentown.
Rain Cancels (although we are considering rain date of 10/31/09 with earlier start time - will keep you posted...)
