Green Blaze Ride in Jim Thorpe!!

Fri, 07/03/2009 - 8:30am - 3:00pm Ride the Green Blaze above the Switchback Trail in Jim Thorpe. Leave the Lehigh Valley at 8:30 and meet at Mauch Chunk Lake Park, by the boat ramp, at 9:45 am. The Green Blaze is very technical in spots and approximately 15 miles long, 3.5 hours plus. There is a mix of classic rocky Penna singletrack, Vermont swoopy pine forest, Utah like scenery, black coal trails with white birch trees, crystal blue ponds to dunk in near the end of the ride, and of course, Molly Maguires in downtown Thorpe for beers and eats afterward. |
