Up on the Broad today looking around and doing some base miles when I sees this SNAKE. At first I thought it was a racer cause I NEVER SEE RATTLESNAKES when I try to find them. Well, this was a snoozing 3 foot Timber rattler, dark phase. I watched it for a while, then it rained a little and he cruised. And just so you're (not) comfortable about this, you can't see them anymore after they go 3 feet into the brush!.
THEN I turned to go to the little pond by the powerline and this 5 foot stick starts hissing at me...(rattlesnake #2 ,I have video)
