I just want to reach out tho the club. One of our best trail networks in the tri state was recently vandalized by what we believe to be jealous atv users that once ran rampant on this park property prior to it's IMBA rebuild. Cunningham Park. Damage is quite extensive and a call out for help through volunteers is needed. This Saturday we will have the first of a few big trail day rebuilds and hopefully we can knock out most of the big work then. IMBA Trail Care Crews from Massachussetts, Rhode Island,Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania will be coming together to do the repairs. Jorba,Vmb, Nycmtb, Climbonline, are a few of the IMBA clubs that will be showing there support and I hope you can too.
The location of the Cunningham Parks easiest trail head is here. 210th st, and 67th ave. Queens New York Parking is safe and simple. If you would be able to join us great. The drive is really easy from route 95,78, or 80 east. Just a few minutes over the George Washington Bridge to route 295 and your there. we'll be meeting at this location point throughout the day and we'll be working all day. There are still many trails to ride at the park so don't come out empty handed, bring you bike... And your heart. The Cunny Park as we call it is the most prestigious of all the IMBA bike parks in our tri state, so far. Multi "play stations" set around the park to give the riders a true feel of ownership. Roaming through Pump tracks, dirt jumps, freeride, skills and of course flowy single track really send you through the day with a big smile on your face. I hope if at any you pass this along to your friends and join us if possible. Show support. It's a small cycling community here in the tri state if we stick together we'll get many accomplishments done!!!!
