The next Sals trash clean-up day has been scheduled for Nov. 13th. Rain or Shine.
This is the BIG one :thumbsup: . So please try to make time for this event and encourage others to join in on the fun. We (all the organizing groups - VMB, Salisbury Township, City of Allentown, Lehigh Canoe Club, Lehigh Valley Health Network, etc.) hope to get at least 50 volunteers for this.
There will be several dumpsters, a backhoe, pickup trucks, and more. The railroad tracks are going to be monitored/closed so that area can be safely cleaned. The goal is to get as much of the remaining trash out of the park as possible.
Time: 9am - noon

What to Bring: Work Gloves, Rake
Notes:
Wear appropriate footwear (i.e. hiking boots) as some of the area we will be cleaning is steeply sloped.
Ticks are pretty active right now, so you may want to bring bug spray.
A port-o-john will be on site.
Some refreshments, hand sanitizer, and extra gloves will be available.
