Lehigh County, Salisbury Township, the City of Allentown, and user groups including Valley Mountain Bikers and Lehigh Valley Canoe Club are combining efforts to remove trash from Salisbury Walking Purchase Park. VMB has done a good job over the past several years removing trash from the park, although some areas of the park still need to be cleaned. The final goal is to have the entire park cleaned of trash, so additional cleanup days may be needed later in the year. After sections of the park are cleaned, surveillance cameras will be installed in key locations to deter further trash dumping.

What to Wear and Bring: Wear appropriate footwear, long pants and shirts. Bring gloves, rakes and bug spray.
After meeting and registering at Fearless Fire Co we will caravan to the trash cleaning locations along Constitution Dr. Dumpsters, trash bags, bug spray, hand sanitizer, and water will be provided.
