This will be our initial trail day in the Whitehall Parkway. We will be hiking the existing singletrack with members of Whitehall Township's Environmental Advisory Council. We will do some trash clean-up and basic pruning. We can also assess trail condition and determine what additional maintenance the Township will allow. I think with some trail raking and repair of existing log and bridge crossings, we can have a rideable park by Summer. Once cleaned up, this location will be a great entry-level/beginner riding area.
We will meet at the Northern most parking area located just off Chestnut Street. From Rt. 22 take Rt.145 North about 4 miles to Chestnut St. ( there will be a Sheetz on the right). Turn left on Chestnut St. ( don't worry about the Road Closed signs, you won't be going that far) go about 2/10ths of a mile and turn left into the parking lot.
