Weekend started out aggravating on Friday night. The usual work crap and my cell phone ringing with that BS. But it rapidly got better once I descrambled my bike cables and got the Enduro trailworthy for Sals.
I was late but met the peeps at the Lower Lot on the Spanky. All 10 or 15 of them. Yeah Sals was greasy, but with that many riders it can't be anything other than fun. Then we hit Tulum. 15 VMBer's munching burritos and beer! Lets see, JoeG, Hophazard, Wademan, Salsrocks, Scottstortz, Erock, Wademan, Heidiu, Jason, Donxfive, Jenn Stortz, Kris Rigler, Guitarswheelies, Kirk, and Jaime. While there we got the idea to do a road ride Saturday. RButz and Rufey called in after they did a Camelback ride with Cmlbkgirl and other VMBer's.
Our Prez was in a rare "let's party all night" mood. He almost got me out to the Beef Baron at 12:30 am.
S0...Saturday I did a harem road ride. NICE! It's fun ridin with all women, I highly recommend it. Heidi, Jen, Dedi and I toured Applebutter Rd, Williams Township, Hellertown and the Casino. Beautiful day. Dedi gets the "hang tough" award. After Applebutter Rd kicked her ass she dug in and kicked it into high gear...
And Sunday. Merli. Wow that place is way cool, way rocky and way gnarly. Scottstortz, Guitarswheelies, Wademan, HecklerMike, Erock and I had a blast on beautiful May day. Mike was smokin fast. Almost 4000 ft of climbing....all on rocks. Just a fantastic day to be alive playing with your buddies in the woods.
And this doesn't even mention what fun I missed at Blue....
