I'll be heading up to Middlebury College in Middlebury, VT the first week of February and it's pretty darn cold. So I was wondering if there are any suggestions for some uber-cold weather riding gear (no I don't want a trainer). I'm considering a pair of winter riding shoes...those Pearl Izumi Barrier GTX's posted on here a day ago are looking mighty fine at $125 (http://villagecycle.com/itemdetails.cfm?LibId=49710), any quibbles with them? I'm guessing the Pearl Izumi lobsta' mitts are the only things that might keep my hands warm? Jackets? Layers? Tights? What the heck keeps me warm when it's 0 degrees and there isn't enough snow to keep me from riding...?
