Sadie and I were at the burg around 11am this morning. The conditions were not great, but rideable. 70% frozen snow and ice covered with lots af frozen foot, bike and hoof prints.
Hunters and horses were out as well. It looks like there were a lot of mud riders, (not that I haven't ever),out last week since there were a lot of frozen rutted areas. I hope the mud riders will also be helping the rest of us with trail care in the spring. Also noticed bike tracks on the creek trail by Sobers Run where the new crushed stone bypass is. The Park Manager said that this portion of trail is closed due to erosion and asked us not to use it. If you see anyone on it please let them know.
