I was running a little late this morning and forgot my camera. Too bad, because....
The day started at 9am with 12 people from the Chain Gang, Dirt Devils and Valley Mountain Bikers on Dan's "base mile" ride at Salisbury.
Directly followed by...
15 people from the Chain Gang, Dirt Devils and Valley Mountain Bikers cutting in new trail at Salisbury.
It was cool to see some people from DD I haven't seen in a while and meet a couple really nice new people too.
We were standing on the orange trail ridge watching riders go by below us -- one rider (Darren?) climbed up the hill with his dog to ask how he could help next time. We also saw Mark Bowman ride by below with a couple other riders. Rumor has it that he's gonna' buy a beer for everyone who's been building lately! Is that true??Mark?? (Feel free to pass this info on and inflate as you see fit -- and then be sure to stop by SMC and ask him to pay up!

Just got home at 5. Very cool day.
I like to thank people for coming out -- but that always seems a little weird -- better to say you'll thank yourself next time you ride there.
