Where to find new rides and people to ride with

Greetings from the Scranton Wilkesbarre area! Love your guy's site can't wait to come down and checkout Sals for the first time. I used to live in Easton and ride a ton when I was younger, but sals didn't exist back then. Anyway I'm highly impressed with your site from the standpoint of a webmaster, and I'm highly impressed with your work at Sals as there's a really great buzz coming from riders and online about your trails.

Anyway just wanted to give a shout out to you guys and the great job you're doing down there, also wanted to let you know about a site I just put togther that I think will help riders discover Sals, and also maybe show you guys some of the cool places to ride up here in the Scranton, Pa area. The name of the site is Cyclee.com http://cyclee.com. The site works much like a myspace or facebook type site. The neat thing is that you can create and organize rides, clubs, shop rides whatever you want in there. And all the members and groups have their own ride calendars, so you can easily cordinate and see who in your group of friends is open or trying to organize a ride. Or find out if one of your clubs you created or belong to has an event like a trail maint. day or something.

The cool thing about the site is that I think it helps bring a level of openness and cooperation between riders, clubs, shops etc. possible since it's just a matter of clicking "make ... your friend" and you know have a connection to a different rider you just met online, or you know have an invitation from another bike club to come ride with them one day next week etc.
